Caring Hearts

The Salvation Army cares for vulnerable children and less fortunate elderly in our three residential homes here in Ipoh. We also care the needy families served by our Community Services.

This year has been challenging to raise the funds we need to operate, especially as we cannot hold an annual food fair fundraising event due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Hence, we need your help to support our new fundraising campaign Caring Hearts.

We are looking for 1,500 people with caring hearts to donate RM100 or above so that we can achieve the much-needed RM150,000 by 31 October 2020.

Every donation receives a tax-deductible receipt and donations over RM100 receive our special thank you card from the children. Please provide us with your mailing address when making the transaction, hence, we can send the receipt and the card to you.

救世军照顾在怡保的三所儿童和老人院中的弱势孩子和不幸的老人。我们也关怀社区服务为有需要的家庭提供照顾。

今年对我们来说是充满挑战的一年，尤其是因新型冠状病毒疫情的影响而导致我们无法举行一年一度的义卖筹款活动。因此，我们非常需要您来支持我们的新筹款活动-Caring Hearts。

我们需要1,500名Caring Hearts（关怀之心）的人捐助100令吉或以上，以便让我们可以在2020年10月31日之前筹集急需的150,000令吉。

每笔善款都会收到扣税收据。若超过100令吉的善款会收到孩子们的特别感恩卡。请记得在捐款时也留下邮寄地址，以便我们能将收据和感恩卡寄给您。

We were established in 1940 and continues today to provide care and compassion for the vulnerable and needy in the State of Perak. Our three residential homes provide safe and secure environments for children, young boys, and elderly people who through no fault of their own, need our help.

Our services also include support to underprivileged families in the Ipoh area. Counselling and practical support are given to families afflicted with poverty or illness with the aim of helping them become self-sufficient.

The four services are:

• Ipoh Corps and Community Service
